It all started a long time ago. A son of Bihar decided to bring the people of Bihar under one Umbrella.
Prashant Anand, a soldier of Bihar feels very proud to be born in the soil of Bihar.
Bihar is in his Blood and proud of his rich heritage. He has proud of his ancestors from Bihar like Acharya Chanakya, Maharaj Chandragupta Maurya, Samrat Ashok, Skandgupta, Veer Kunwar Singh and many more who gave India’s two of its Six Golden Ages, Maurya Era and Gupta Era.
He has proud of Bihar who accepts each and every one without discrimination, be it Hindi-speaking people, be it non-Hindi speaking people. He has so much proud of his Motherland Bihar.
Prashant wanted to create a platform where all people of Bihar can come, share their joy, happiness, pains, sorrow and Feel Proud to be a Bihari.
Every year, he sees a lot of students after completing their 12th Std. migrating outside of Bihar in searching of higher education and for livelihood.
The pain of leaving one’s own Motherland still persists in each and every Bihari and his life compels him to stay outside forever for better livelihood.
In some cases, they almost forget what was Bihar and their Identity of being a Bihari is lost in the metropolitan cities. The Migrant Bihari gets settled in different parts of India’s states and when his children grow up, he is not a Bihari because he is born outside of Bihar, they live outside and he will never understand what the Culture of Great Bihar is?
These things gave him a lot of pain. This pain is just not within him, it persists in each and every boy & girl who leaves Bihar in his late teens.
Down the heart of each and every native of Bihar who leaves the Bihar, he/she wants to go back forever. He wants to be Reborn in Bihar, live his childhood again, go to Maa Ganga on each and every Chhath Parva (A most popular festival of Bihar) and see the pooja of Surya Dev (The Sun God), he again wants to relive those moments of his grandmother telling him stories of Raja-Rani and many more.
He again wants to feel the Rainfall of Bihar, he again wants to feel the Spring and the Winters. But we all are afraid to tell that we want to go back to Bihar forever.
Yes, we all are afraid to say that we are Biharis. Don’t know why? Isn't Bihar Our Motherland? Don't we Love Bihar? Maybe we do not and that is why despite there are lot of People of Bihar living in New Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru and Kolkata, but still they are not connected to each other.
These all things prompted Prashant to go back into lives of each and every son and daughter of Bihar and search his conscience. It prompted him to create a Social Network for YOB - Youth of Bihar where they can say
Keeping these points in mind, www.youthofBihar.org was born. It is an honest attempt by him to bring all People of Bihar irrespective of their caste, color, gender, religion, language together, where they can celebrate Bihar.
