Ganga Shringar is a flagship environmental initiative aimed at strengthening the ecological balance, biodiversity, and green cover of the Ganga and its surrounding areas.
Under this initiative, YOB has undertaken the ambitious commitment of planting 10 lakh trees. The campaign was launched on 28 March, on the occasion of Bihar Diwas, by Hon’ble Member of Parliament Shri Manoj Tiwari Ji.
The initiative goes beyond plantation. YOB seeks to promote the long-term protection and nurturing of trees, while encouraging greater community participation and environmental consciousness towards a greener, healthier, and sustainable future.
For several years, YOB has been actively engaged in providing service and support to economically disadvantaged and needy Chhath devotees during the Chhath Mahaparv.
As part of these efforts, YOB undertakes Prasad and milk distribution at various Chhath Ghats. For YOB, Chhath represents enduring values of service, compassion, dignity, and community solidarity.
