About The Founder

It all started with a dream. A dream of bringing together the people of Bihar, regardless of where they live, under one common platform where they can celebrate their roots, culture and identity.

Prashant Anand, a proud son of Bihar, has always carried deep respect and admiration for the state's rich history, heritage and contribution to India. Inspired by legends such as Acharya Chanakya, Chandragupta Maurya, Samrat Ashoka, Skandagupta and Veer Kunwar Singh, he believes Bihar has always been a land of visionaries, warriors and nation builders.

Over the years, he witnessed thousands of young Biharis leaving their homeland in search of education, employment and better opportunities. While success came to many, the emotional connection with Bihar often weakened as generations settled elsewhere.

This silent pain inspired him to create a movement where every Bihari could reconnect with their identity, culture and heritage. A place where they could share memories, celebrate achievements and support each other.

With this vision, Youth Of Bihar (YOB) was born — a platform dedicated to connecting people of Bihar across the world, promoting unity beyond caste, religion, language and geography.

YOB is not just an organization; it is a movement to inspire youth, preserve culture, strengthen community bonds and create opportunities for future generations.
